Warmer and more breathable than synthetic fleece, with zero plastic throughout. This men’s merino wool quarter zip is 100% Merino lambswool, made in Britain. Woven, not knitted, so it has more loft and better wind resistance than knitted wool, and it’s beautifully soft against your skin.

Ideal for hiking, skiing, horse riding and all outdoor adventures.

PureFleece® is a 100% Merino lambswool mid layer at 360gsm, woven on Rapier looms at a mill in Yorkshire. Weaving is slower and more precise than knitting, which gives it extra loft, durability and drape, plus an ultimate warmth to weight ratio.

- 20 microns: regular wool is around 35, so the fibres bend against your skin instead of itching
- Moisture: absorbs up to 35% of its own weight and still feels dry
- Naturally water repellent, odour resistant and dirt repellent
- No Superwash: no polyester resin coating, unlike most merino
- Certified: Woolmark, mulesing free, Oeko-Tex dyes
- Renewable and biodegradable

COLLAR, ZIP AND HEM
- Quarter-length YKK gunmetal zip on eco cotton tape, with a glove-friendly pull
- High comfort collar for warmth at the neck
- Adjustable eco rubber cinch cord at the hem, wrapped in eco cotton with a light alloy toggle, to lock out draughts

COMFORT AND FINISH
- Ultra-soft eco cotton moleskin on the inside collar seam and yoke
- Discreet embroidered sleeve logo in natural fibre thread
- Zero plastic throughout. Made in Britain.

CARE
- Day to day: merino rarely needs washing, so hang it in a breeze and brush off any dirt
- Washing: cold wool wash, hand wash or dry clean. Do not tumble dry
- Size: pre-shrunk, so it keeps its size if you follow the care steps
- Storage: as with all wool, use moth protection when it's not in use

- Fit: comfortable, with room for a tee or long-sleeved base layer underneath
- Model: Nicholas is 5'11" (180cm) with a 40" (101cm) chest, and wears size L
